Rihanna and A$AP Rocky became parents for the first time in 2022, but how many kids do they have and what are they called?

Rihanna has been enjoying motherhood since welcoming her first baby in 2022 with her long-term boyfriend, rapper A$AP Rocky and in August 2023 she gave birth to her second baby. And now, in May 2025, she's just revealed she's pregnant with her third child!

The ‘ANTI’ superstar has spoken about being a mum many times in the past couple of years, revealing she’s ‘so in love’ and ‘obsessed’ after welcoming her first baby boy.

Riri kept fans in the dark about what she had named her son for almost a year, with the pop star eventually sharing his name – RZA – with the world.

Recently, she shared plans to have more children, telling Interview magazine: "I would go for more than two. I would try for my girl. But of course if it’s another boy, it’s another boy.”

The Savage X Fenty founder expanded her family earlier in 2023 when she welcomed a second baby boy (Riot) on 3rd August. And now she's expecting again.

How many children does Rihanna have? Their names and ages

Rihanna has two sons, the first named RZA Athelston Mayers and the second, named Riot Rose Mayers, who arrived on 3rd August 2023.

Baby RZA is now almost three years old and is set to celebrate his third birthday in May. Baby Riot Rose is around 18 months old.

Rihanna's boys are 15 months apart, with Rihanna announcing her second pregnancy at the 2023 Super Bowl just nine months after welcoming her first baby.

Rihanna is now expecting her third child, but she has not yet revealed when she's due.

In September 2024, Rihanna shared a hilarious video of her son RZA climbing out his cot, she captioned the video: "being a boy mom is an Olympic sport"

After a few attempts RZA is seen climbing out of the cot to retrieve his sippy cup, it then looks like he walks straight back to the cot.

When did Rihanna give birth to her first baby?

Rihanna gave birth to her first baby boy, Rza, on May 13, 2022.

She first revealed her pregnancy in an iconic photoshoot in January of the same year, as she and A$AP strolled through New York, when she was around the 4-5 month mark.

When did Rihanna have her second baby?

Rihanna officially welcomed her second baby, a baby boy called Riot, a name beginning with an 'R' just like his big brother's. Riot was born on 3rd August 2023.

She showcased her second pregnancy for the first time in February 2023 at the Super Bowl, where she was assumed to be past the three-month mark.

Riri went on to display her growing baby bump on red carpets and multiple outings, reviving her title as a maternity style icon for a second time.
