Little Mix’s band hiatus began back in 2021, giving the girls a break to focus on their solo careers. And focus they have, with Leigh-Anne already treating fans to an EP, Perrie Edwards releasing singles like 'Forget About Us' and 'Tears', all eyes are on Jade Thirlwall, now known just as 'Jade'.

Initially Jade kept her cards close to her chest after announcing back in 2022 that she had signed a solo artist deal with RCA Records. A year later, in November 2023, Jade finally gifted her fans with a cheeky hint at what she’d been up to and fast forward to June 2024 she finally announced her debut single, 'Angel of My Dreams'.

Now we've had 'Angel of My Dreams', her IG (Instant Gratification) track 'Midnight Cowboy', disco banger 'Fantasy', 'IT Girl' and 'FUFN'. But she's not finishing there, she has finally announced the release of her debut album!

So when is Jade's next single coming out? When is her album coming out? Here’s what we know...

Is Jade releasing an album?

Yes, Jade has just announced her debut album 'THAT'S SHOWBIZ BABY' will be released on 12th September.

The record will consist of songs she's already dropped like 'Angel of My Dreams', 'Fantasy', 'Midnight Cowboy' and 'IT Girl'.

Towards the end of March 2024, Jade took to her Instagram to post a dump of photos and videos of her life. Amongst the cute selfies and the adorable animals, she slid a cheeky video of herself in the recording studio.

The video itself had no sound but even soundless, the video had fans SUPER excited for her debut record.

Jade changed the name of her 2025 single 'IT Girl', which was initially called 'That's Showbiz Baby', after fans began referring to it themselves as 'IT Girl'. When she asked fans to pre-save the single, she announced on X: "Everyone referring to this track as IT girl may or may not have made me change the name."

When is Jade's album coming out?

Jade's debut solo album will be released on 12th September 2025.

In May 2025 Jade ramped up the announcement tease as she shared a video saying, 'Manifesting a special announcement soon' with the caption: "I heard the more you comment your manifestation, the quicker it comes to you".

And it clearly worked! You best believe we all manifested that album announcement.

When was Jade Thirlwall's debut single released?

Jade's debut solo single 'Angel Of My Dreams' came out on Friday 19th July, with 'Midnight Cowboy' and 'Fantasy' following in the latter part of 2024.

'AOMD' which was described as a 'shape-shifting banger' explored her love/hate relationship with the pop industry she's been at the heart of since her former band Little Mix launched in 2011.

Who is Jade Thirlwall collaborating with on her solo music?

Jade co-wrote 'Angel of My Dreams' in LA alongside Steph Jones (who worked on Sabrina Carpenter's 'Espresso'), Pablo Bowman (Calvin Harris' 'Miracle') and producer Mike Sabbath, who's worked with RAYE.

The pop star began working on her solo career shortly after Little Mix went on hiatus, having studio sessions with collaborators including; MNEK, Cirkut, Lostboy, RAYE, Lauren Aquilina and Dave Hamelin alongside Mike, Steph and Pablo.
